8 Second Imagery's copyright notice...

Regarding images on this site:

1. All images and pages on this site are the copyrighted property of 8 Second Imagery, LLC. and are protected under U.S. and international law. Under NO circumstances do I allow copying, duplication or downloading of them for any purpose, except though normal viewing using a browser.

Regarding prints you buy:

1. Unless specifically stated otherwise in a written agreement, images sold by 8 Second Imagery, LLC are designated for personal-display only. This means that the purchaser of a print has bought a reproduction of the original image and can display that print in their home or personal workspace (cubicle or immediate office but not halls, lobby or common areas), however they have not bought or been given any rights for reuse or reproduction in any form; Those rights remain exclusively with 8 Second Imagery, LLC.
2. Copying, duplication or replication of the print is not allowed in any form without prior written agreement. This means it is illegal to scan, take a photograph of the print or otherwise create a duplicate. This specifically means that you may not scan a print or take a picture of it and you may not distribute that copy to others or upload it to the internet.
3. Violating any of these terms is a Federal Copyright violation and, at a minimum, will be invoiced at 10 times the standard rate, and/or incur prosecution for a Federal Copyright violation with a statuatory fine of $150,000 when I catch you.
4. Only 8 Second Imagery is allowed to modify or make a derivitive piece of artwork based on an 8 Second Imagery photograph, and all copyrights remain with 8 Second Imagery for derived work. This means any art based on an 8 Second Imagery photograph is copyrighted by 8 Second Imagery automatically and prohibits anyone else from making or copyrighting art based on the photograph.
5. These terms apply to all images created by 8 Second Imagery, LLC, whether they were purchased in the past or in the future.
6. 8 Second Imagery, LLC reserves all rights to its images.
7. This list is subject to change.

All accesses to pages and images on this site are logged. Information gathered will be used to prosecute any violation of these terms.
